At Nexus, we are implementing some new changes to ensure both the safety of our patients and our staff members.
Improved Cleaning & Sanitization
We are introducing a new standard of sanitization and cleaning high traffic areas! All treatment rooms will be thoroughly disinfected after each patient.
Common Areas and Equipment
We have removed the Water station to limit shared items in the lobby, and business cards are available on request. Please bring your personal water bottle if needed.
Practitioner Health Protocols
To ensure your visit to Nexus is safe, all our practitioners will don on surgical masks and participate in hand washing hygeine to prevent the spread of any diseases.
About your Visit!
Stay Home if Feeling Unwell
If you are feeling unwell or showing symptoms of COVID-19, please stay home and call the clinic to change your appointment to Telehealth or to reschedule after 10 days when you are feeling better.
Contactless Payment
Please note that we are not accepting cash at this time - please use Credit or Debit cards only. The credit card machine is sanitized after each use.
Before you Leave
Please wash your hands with soap and water at the wash station before you leave.

Are there exceptions to the Nexus appointment cancellation policy?

What happens if someone has COVID-19 symptoms at the clinic?
The patient will be sent home to monitor their symptoms, encouraged to take the self assessment questionnaire and contact their doctor or Telehealth Ontario at 1-866-797-0000 if their symptoms get worse.
The treatment room or area that the patient was in will be thoroughly disinfected.
We will follow up with the patient after 3 days to see if the symptoms have gotten worse and report any new COVID-19 cases to the Toronto Public Health.
If someone is found to be COVID-19 positive, we will notify everyone who was at Nexus during that time.
What should I do if I have COVID-19 symptoms?
You are considered a person with COVID-19 if ANY of the following apply:
If you have any COVID symptoms or are exposed to COVID, isolate for 10 days since the day of:
- Tested positive for COVID-19 on a PCR, Rapid Molecular, or Rapid Antigen test
- Told by Toronto Public Health that you have a “probable case” of COVID-19
- Ontario Self Assessment Tool tells you you are a probably case of COVID-19
1. Fully Vaccinated (2 doses)
- Isolation period - At least 5 Days after symptom onset or positive test date, whichever happened first
- Isolation period - At least 10 days after symptom onset or positive test date, whichever happened first
