SERVICES
Registered Massage Therapy
With benefits ranging from pain relief, stress alleviation, increased joint mobility and heightened immune response, massage is a centuries-old technique based on the manipulation of soft tissue. Focused on the muscular, nervous and circulatory systems, Nexus therapists provide customized client-focused care during sessions to ensure we are working together to return clients to optimal health.
Hot Stone Massage
Hot stone massage pairs traditional massage therapy with the use of smooth basalt stones that retain heat. Promoting muscle relaxation and increased blood flow, the heated stones are used by specially-trained Nexus therapists while massaging the body and placed on strategic points such as along the spine to increase the benefits of deep tissue work.
Sports Massage Therapy
Sports massage therapy is a specialized massage technique designed to cater to the needs of athletes. Unlike regular massage therapy, sports massage focuses on the areas of the body that are most affected by physical activity, such as the legs, shoulders, and back. This type of massage combines traditional massage techniques with active myofascial release to help athletes restore balance and maintain their health.
Chiropractic
Nexus utilizes current evidence-based chiropractic methods to assist clients with neuro-muscular injury, postural tension, improved range of motion and pain reduction. After a thorough assessment, practitioners guide clients through a series of manual adjustments and mobilizations to address the root causes that are affecting joint, nerve and muscle health.
Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy treats muscular and neural health by combining manual physical therapy, strengthening and stretching exercises to facilitate ease in your daily activities. Nexus physiotherapists create custom treatment plans that match clients long-term goals for strength and conditioning, pain relief and increased mobility, and act as accountability partners in the journey to peak health.
Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture
Acupuncture promotes the body’s ability to heal itself by stimulating acupuncture points on the body that connect to our endocrine, immune, nervous, digestive and cardiovascular systems. During treatment, experienced practitioners use super-fine needles and at times pressure, heat or electrical stimulation. Treating a multitude of issues such as pain, sleep trouble, and digestion; acupuncture can help Nexus clients achieve a higher quality of life.
Osteopathy
Osteopathy is an integrative manual therapy that works to align all components of the body including the nervous, lymphatic, and circulatory systems to restore health. At Nexus, osteopaths recognize clients' needs from a ‘whole body’ perspective and use various hands-on techniques to treat postural alignment, muscle tension, arthritis, digestive and nervous issues, among many others.
Custom Orthotics
Custom orthotics fit similar to a comfortable insole inside your footwear and lessen the stress and strains on your body by bringing your daily steps back into healthy balance and alignment. Ideal for clients experiencing foot pain, bunions, hammer toes, leg/knee pain, and hip/back pain.
Ask our chiropractors if custom orthotics may be right for you.
Herbs & Nutrition

What should I expect in a Massage Therapy treatment?
During the treatment, your massage therapist will ask you your goals and what areas you would like to be worked on. If this is your subsequent treatment, your therapist will follow up on the effects of your last treatment session and modify the treatment, if needed, for effectiveness.
After you have set your goals for treatment, your RMT will leave the room for you to get ready on the table. During the massage, your RMT will check in on the pressure of the massage to make sure you feel comfortable. If you feel the pressure is too much, or would like more, please don’t hesitate to let your massage therapist know and he/she will modify the treatment for you.
After the massage is complete, your RMT may provide you some exercises and home care on how to improve your health based on your goals. The homecare prescription is part of your massage therapy session that you booked.
