Tell us about yourself?

I am a Chiropractor who provides individualized, evidence-based assessments and treatments to help my patients reach their health goals. I am here to empower my patients with knowledge about their health and wellness, so they can become more resilient and return to the activities they love.

I grew up playing volleyball and basketball, which inspired my initial love of sports and human anatomy. I studied Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo and graduated with an Honours Degree. I continued to follow my passion for human biomechanics, health, and wellness by pursuing a degree in Doctor of Chiropractic at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. I also studied medical acupuncture at McMaster University.

Outside the clinic, I spend my time raising two young boys with my husband. I also love practicing yoga, swimming, and jogging.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

I treat neck pain, back pain, headaches, sprains/strains, repetitive strain injuries, arthritic conditions, sports injuries, and more. My recent experience with motherhood has increased my appreciation for new moms. I love treating prenatal and postnatal patients because I can relate to the changes a body goes through creating a life. I want to help mothers around the world feel stronger and more comfortable.

What are the top 3 treatments that you specialize in?

I specialize in joint mobilization/adjustment, myofascial release therapy, and orthotics.

What are you proud of in your practice?

I feel proud of being able to help my patients walk out feeling better and stronger, closer to reaching their goals with every visit.

Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?

I provide evidence-based assessments to find the root of symptoms and work with patients to determine the course of treatments that will work best with their goals and lifestyle. I have a variety of treatment methods including education, hands-on manual therapy, electro-acupuncture, cupping, individualized rehabilitation exercises, and more.
